International Women’s day celebrated on March 8, 2021 at GCRI. The theme for this year’s International Women’s Day was to Choose To Challenge. It indicates that a “challenged world is an alert world, and from challenge comes change”. This year, we have all choose to challenge everything that has been holding us back and became better allies. The Women Development Cell of GCRI organized talks of two lady staff members that would help facing challenge, mentally and physically. The occasion was graced by Director Sir Dr Shashank Pandya and Deputy Director Dr. Pariseema Dave.

The first talk was on, Energy Meditation: A way to self-healing and mindfulness by Dr. Manisha Singh from the Department of Palliative Medicine. She briefed the audience, regarding stress management. She told how we can cleanse the negative vibrations and manage the seven chakras of the human body and create a positive aura.

The second talk was on ‘How to create a healthy tiffin/plate by dietician Ms Janki Patel. She emphasized on how females compromise on their diet and strictly instructed, to avoid it. She briefed on healthy eating habits for a better life.
